Harry and Ronald
Harry and Ronald are good friends. They have known each other for many years. Day after day, at the same exact time, they sit in the same seats in the same cafe and play cards and talk. They are both lazy and easy going but they always talk about the busy things they are going to do.
“What are you going to do tomorrow Ronald?” Harry asks.
“Well, first I am planning to have the living room decorated. When the decorating is done, I will get the front door painted. Maybe when it is finished, I will have time to have my car cleaned.
“You are certainly going to get a lot done.” says Harry.
“What are you going to do tomorrow, Harry?” asks Ronald.
“Well, I have a few plans.” says Harry. “First, if it’s a nice day, I will have my roof repaired. Then I will get the car serviced. I will get the grass lawned. I will get my hair cut at the barber’s.
“We’re both going to get a lot done tomorrow.” says Ronald.
“The problem is” says Harry thoughtfully “by the time we get all that work done, we’ll be too tired to meet and play cards.”
“You’re absolutely right Harry” Ronald agrees at once “I suggest we have the jobs done some other time. I will see you here at the usual time tomorrow then.”
